Sharing Watershed Management, Planning and Resources in West Michigan 



Nichol De Mol - received her Masters of Science in Biology from Grand Valley State University and her Bachelors degree from the School of Natural Resources at the University of Michigan.  Her master’s work involved analyzing benthic macroinvertebrate responses to road-stream crossing and stream bank improvements in the Manistee River Watershed.  Nichol has worked for the Annis Water Resources Institute – GVSU for over seven years as a watershed manager.  She has written a watershed management plan for the Rogue River Watershed and is currently writing one for the White River Watershed.  She has managed several implementation projects in the Rogue River and Muskegon River Watersheds installing Best Management Practices and conducting educational activities for watershed stakeholders.
